How To Use

To burn resin frankincense, you will need incense charcoal and a heat-safe incense burner.

Place sand, ash, or another heat-safe base inside your burner. Using tongs, carefully light the charcoal tablet and place it securely in the burner. Allow the charcoal to heat until it begins to glow and forms a light gray ash coating.

Once the charcoal is ready, sprinkle a small amount of frankincense resin on top. A little goes a long way. As the resin warms, it will release its sacred aroma and create fragrant smoke for your ritual, meditation, or cleansing practice.

As the incense burns, focus your intention. You may say a prayer, affirmation, or personal statement such as:

Important Incense Safety

Always burn resin incense in a heat-safe burner on a stable, fire-resistant surface. Charcoal becomes extremely hot and should only be handled with proper tongs. Never touch hot charcoal, melted resin, ash, or the burner while in use.
